The Identity of Ness's Dad Part 1
There seems to have been much discussion about the true identity of Ness's dad. There has been speculation that he is acually another character from the game, and there has been wonder as to where he attains the funds he pours into Ness' bank account. I have formed a theory that I will now partially unveil.
First, let's examine the evidence. Ness' father seems to be an extremely secretive man that only works through phones. This means that he must be tapped in quite well to be able to be called anywhere.
Second, we all know that he has a nearly infinite sum of money at his disposal. We also know that he doesn't have it all in one lump sum, or else he would deposit it all. Instead, he almost certainly has to be attaining his wealth a little at a time, but in increasing amounts, and it's unlikely that he spends it all on Ness. He also may be some sort of scam artist or some other criminal.
Third, we know that since Ness' Dad knows the number to Ness' receiver phone enen though Ness never tells him what it is, he must have connections to Apple Kid, the designer of the phone, to have obtained that information. These could be direct or indirect, but they must exist.
Fourth, he must be a man who travels around. The Tough Business Man in the Deep Darkness bumps into him and receives money even though he has no obvious escape from the Darkness Also, Ness' Dad is always accessible although he has to leave home to accumulate his wealth at least once in a while. This indicates that he probably works through a cell-phone or something like it. He also appears to have records at all times of how much money poured in.
Fifth, he must have connections that keep a close eye on Ness and his friends if he always knows exactly how much exp. they need for level up. This means that he's a pretty wired-in guy, probably in a high place.
So there is the evidence. The way I see it, there is only one direction in which it all points. If Ness' dad really is a character he meets in the game, he certainly would want to help him.
I'll leave it there for now; I'll allow all of you out there to form opinions given all this evidence. In a day or two, I'll post another article with more evidence and my proposed identity of Ness's father.
